Family Match

Family-Match is bringing ground-breaking innovation to an institution that has not seen significant change for over two centuries. Using compassion-driven technology focused on the family first, families are now finding their forever match sooner and easier with our free Family-Match service.” Family Match – A Program of Adoption Share

Family-Match will work in partnership with DFCS to assist with locating forever homes for those most difficult to place children within the state of Georgia. We invite you to partner with Called to Care as we help get the word out about this unique program. By creating a profile on Family-Match, workers from across the state will be able to see how your family fits with children who are waiting for forever homes.

Family-Match has already paved the way in other states for hundreds of children to find their forever family. We would love for you to be a part of Family-Match, as we break ground in this state and see families and children unite in Georgia.

Adoption Grants

God’s design for children is to grow up in permanent, loving families. With 147 million orphans worldwide and 155,000 children available for adoption in the US foster care system, the need is great! Adoption is a beautiful and imperative response to this need. At Called to Care, we remain committed to helping reduce the greatest barrier to adoption, necessary finances, through our adoption grants. Because additional fears and concerns may linger, we also help families explore their calling to adopt through education and grants.

To apply for a Called to Care Grant, you must live in a Georgia county with a Called to Care chapter or a county that is directly adjacent to a C2C chapter. Chapters: Atkinson, Ben Hill/Irwin, Berrien, Brooks, Charlton/Brantley, Clinch, Coffee, Cook, Dougherty/Lee, Lanier, Lowndes/Echols, Pierce/Bacon, Sumter, Tift/Turner, Ware, and Worth.

If your family is working with an agency, then the agency must have 501(c)3 non-profit status and be Hague accredited. Also, your family must have a completed and approved home study. If your family is working with a lawyer, then the lawyer must be in good standings with the Georgia State Bar and have no disciplinary complaints or actions within the past 5 years.

Mission Grants

Called to Care knows that not everyone is called to foster or adopt, but we are all called to do something. With more than 147 million orphans worldwide, living in brokenness and distress, the Bible orders us to go to them and care for them. In John 14:18, God says, “I see you, and I am coming for you.” If God has called you to the mission field of caring for orphans, Called to Care wants to help. Our ongoing goal is to increase awareness of mission opportunities through our partnering agencies and local churches. All mission trips will travel abroad and minister to hurting children in every effort to multiply disciples.
